“I don’t like books, but God used books to reach out to me. In September of 2004, while doing a research for a project, a book entitled THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE caught my attention. Its message enlightened me. But after several months, I went back to my old life. In the same year, my professor who was a Christian required us to attend a church meeting. The purpose of which was to critique the Pastor’s preaching. While attending the service, I realized that something was still missing in my life, but I did not know what it was. Desperate, I turned on the radio and ended up tuning in to a low-powered radio station (106.3 FM, IBC’s radio station). And I said to myself…’This is home.’ Upon consulting with my teacher, I found out that the radio station was her church’s radio station. Thus, I decided to look for this church. It was there that I was invited to go to their camp and that was where I met the Lord and decided to follow His calling. I am now in Bible School and serving the Lord in the same radio station that led me to Him.”
